در ششمین روز هفته دولت در سال ۹۸ مراسم کلنگ زنی احداث مجتمع پتروشیمی آروین با هدف تولید فرمالین و‌محصولات پایین دست پتروشیمی با حضور مسئولین استانی و سرمایه گذاران طرح برگذار شد.
این
این مجتمع تولیدی در سه فاز و در زمینی به مساحت ۱۱۰ هزار متر مربع در شهرک صنعتی شماره دو‌خرم آباد و با هدف تولید محصولاتی چون فرمالین به میزان ۶۰ هزارتن ، رزین اوره فرمالدهید ۲۰ هزار تن ، هگزامین ۱۰ هزار تن و پارافرمالدهبد ۱۰ هزار تن در حال احداث می باشد.
در این مراسم استاندار محترم دکتر خادمی با بیان اینکه استفاده از زیر ساخت فراهم شده در استان به منظور تولید محصولات با ارزش پتروشیمب از اولویت مسئولین استانی می باشد، افزود در آینده این استان سهم بسزایی در این زمینه با هدف ایجاد اشتغال ایفا خواهد کرد .
